Ryan Peniston has always been a fighter, even before he walked onto his first tennis court. Ryan was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (a cancerous tumor) at the age of one, but over the years with the help of the the great doctors and nurses at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London he beat cancer. Soon after this victory, Ryan's father introduced him to tennis and the next chapter of victories began. By thirteen, Ryan had been accepted to the ISP Tennis Academy in France where he worked with some of the world's top coaches. In 2014, Ryan signed on to the University of Memphis Men's Tennis Team where he went on to break various school records and finished his collegiate career as the program's first All-American in both Singles and Doubles.
He is now on the ATP Challenger Tour as a Professional Tennis Player chasing his dream to play Wimbledon.
